DAV realize the dream of Maharishi Dayanand a group of enlightened, dedicated and devoted followers with a deep sense of self denial, founded the Dayanand Anglo Vedic College trust and Management Society which was registered in 1886.The DAV College Trust and Management Society takes pride in the fact that it is the largest non-governmental educational organization in India managing a chain of 700 institutions including Engineering Colleges, Medical Colleges, Polytechnics, Physiotherapy Colleges, Arts and Science Colleges and Public and Model schools . It covers, the entire spectrum of educational activity in the country. The DAV has established a reputation for academic excellence and character building. Every year thousands of students pass out of these institutions and distinguish themselves in various national and international platforms. The society has, as its alumni, distinguished jurists, diplomats, doctors, engineers, scientists, educationists, literary figures and sportsmen.

Justice N.K. Sud, Vice President, DAVCMC, New Delhi (Member)
Born in a reputed staunch Arya Samajist Family on 3rd June 1944 Justice Narinder Kumar Sud originally belongs to district Kangra now in Himachal Pradesh. He graduated Form D.A.V.College Jalandhar with honors in economics and was placed second in the university in the year 1963. Thereafter, he did his law from Punjab university law college Chandigarh in 1965 and was once again placed second in the university. Besides a good academic record he took keen interest in extra curricular Activities he was the best debater of the Punjab university law college, Chandgiarh, from 1963 to 1965. In 1965 he was enrolled as an advocate and he joined his father in the legal profession. His specialization was Direct taxes. His professional competence was recognized in 1982 when he was appointed a judicial Member of the income tax appellate tribunal he however could not accept this position due to his family circumstances. Ultimately, he was elevated as a judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court in May, 1999. Besides being a successful professional, he has been Active in social and educational fields as well. He was actively associated with Indian Junior Chamber, an individual development organization and Rotary International, a service organization. He joined rotary international in the year 1985 and was the charter president of the Rotary Club of Jalandhar central. After holding various positions in the District 3070, he was unanimously elected the District Governor in the year 1997-98. He was also associated with the managements of prestigious educational institutions of Jalandhar. He has also been the President of the Jalandhar Income Tax Bar Association for three consecutive years.

Sh. N.K Uberoi. Vice President, DAVCMC, New Delhi (Member)
An eminent educationist, former Principal of Hans Raj College, Delhi, former Director of Centre for Professional Development in Higher Education, Delhi University, formerly Dean and Joint Director of Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad and associated with various social and educational institutions. He had his Postdoctoral training in the Universities at USA and UK and has taught and carried out research at these universities. He was till recently the Senior Consultant at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala and presently he is Management Advisor to International Management Institute. He is the former Chairman of the Governing Body of Lady Irwin College and had been working on various committees of UGC, IGNOU and a member of Board of Governors of top Management Institutions. He has won many Honours, Awards and Fellowships viz Ford Foundation Fellowship Awardee, Fulbright Awardee, British Council Visitorship Awardee, Professorial Fellow, Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), Best Teacher Award (2003) by Association of Indian Management Schools. He was designated as a Fellow of IUPAC in 2005. He has authored many books, research papers in national and International Journals, and articles in Hindustan Times and Business Standard. He has been the editor of UGC Series on Professional Competencies in Higher Education and edited IMT Series of Monographs on subjects like Management, Corruption and Corporate Governance.

Born in 1937 in Jammu (J&K State), Sh. Mahesh Chopra has been actively associated with the DAV and Arya Samaj for more than fifty years. He served the DAV Colleges of Punjab and Haryana States as a senior faculty member (Deptt. English). His last stint was in DAV Centenary College, Faridabad whose he is one of the three founding members when in 1985 he was transferred from Dayanand College, Hisar, to build up this Institution. To cater to the professional needs of the Industrial town, Management Courses were started in the evening and he worked as Incharge of the Management Classes. In consequence, it helped in generating large funds to build up the DAV Centenary College.

He is a Alumni of Mehrchand Polytechnic Jalandhar. He is a member of Local DAV College Managing Committee. He always participates and gives his valuable suggestions for the betterment of the Institute.

Sh. Sanjay Gupta – Industrialist (Member)
Sh. Sanjay Gupta is a MD of Hemco Industries Jalandhar. He is a member of Local DAV College Managing Committee, Jalandhar. Mr. Gupta is a great motivator and industrialist. He is a active member of Arya Samaj.

Eminent educationist, researcher, social worker, editor, orator, resource person and widely traveled personality.

Dr. S.K Arora, Principal, DAV College, Jalandhar (Member)
Dr S.K.Arora did his major in subject of botany. He did his under-graduation and post-graduation from Punjab University, Chandigarh. In 1990 he joined as professor in DAV College Benikhet and was also stayed as principal for four years. He also served his principal ship in S.L Bawa DAV college, Batala for five years and in 2011 he was principal of DAV College Abohar for five years.

A Gold Medalist Civil Engineer, Sh. Jagroop Singh is the Principal of Mehr Chand Polytechnic, Jalandhar. He has a teaching experience of 17 years & administrative experience of 6 years. He has presented 13 research papers in various conferences and written 8 books on Civil Engg. and Punjab/ Hindi Literature.
