The basic motive of this lab is to train the students on variant operating system environment. This lab possess Core2Duo machines having dual mode of operating systems viz Windows 7 Professional and Ubuntu Linux platform. Students shall gain practical exposure of Core operating system components along with architectural features and all its components. Lab has utility programs like Turbo C++ to implement various system programs and application programs. Further in this lab there are various software Engineering tools like Rational Rose, Star UML and Open Proj for software development.

This lab is equipped with Core2 Duo systems having Windows 7 Platform. Students are made familiar with general application tools and various utility software like MS Office, Turbo C/ C++ etc. Students implement algorithms related to data structures, Object oriented programming, computer graphics, Simulation and Modelling, Computer Networks, Ethical Hacking and also study practically how to provide solutions to complex algorithmic problems. Various utility software like .NET Platform, Java, Visual Studio etc. to meet the requirements of the final year students. Practical knowledge provided in this lab fills the gaps between the students and companies.

Research efforts in the CAD LAB are unified by the theme of empowering product designers through new design methods and design education.

This lab also teaches students to deal with drafting, designing and manufacturing. This lab shows its relevance that how they can use the software’s in drafting, designing and manufacturing. It enhances their knowledge and skill set to upcoming designs in the market. Various tests and analysis can be done on the machine elements for their failure etc.
