Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Governments all around the world hastened to respond by enforcing measures such as social-distancing, quarantine and isolation. While necessary, these measures can have a significant effect on young people’s mental health. Fear, anxiety, anger, sadness and grief are compounded by being away from colleges, work, peers, adjusting to new ways of learning and working, as well as fear of losing marks and family income.

We feel immense pleasure in sharing the information that as part of our planned awareness series on COVID-19, DAVIET is joining hands internationally as the MOU’s were signed with Australian and Canadian Institutes and Companies. Department of hospitality is offering a webinar on “A lesson to move forward in Covid 19 through Being positive & Being resilient by Dr Bharat Sharma” on July 17th from 2:00 pm onwards at Google Meet.

Dr Bharat Sharma is a lecturer in Kaplan Business School , Melbourne, Australia. Teacher, Business and Health (Pathways and Vocational Education) Swinburne University, Wantirna campus, Victoria Australia. We will be highly obliged with his presence.
