- The Governing body of the institution had made provisions to provide seed money up to 1.5 lakh for minor projects to the faculty of the Basic Science/ Engineering & Technology, Management & Environmental Sciences department and SEED Grant up to Rs. 0.75 lakh for Humanities department.
- A budget provision of Rs. 2 lakhs in the annual budget for funding industry defined/research projects of DAVIET students every year. The Institute can finance (maximum) up to Rs. 25000/- for each Industry Defined/ Research Project. This is in addition to affiliating university Scheme of funding Industrial defined project.
