SC/ST Committee has been constituted for the students in the institute to promote the special interests of students in the reserved category, aware them regarding various scholarship schemes and to resolve their problems.

The Internal Complaint Committee is constituted as per the provision of Sexual harassment of women at work place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 for a period of 3 years.

Minority and OBC Cell of the institute is dedicated to provide an atmosphere that support diversity and respects everyone regardless of color, religious belief or cultures.
The purpose of the Grievance Redressal committee is to ensure a speedy response to any complaint by the students of DAVIET, Jalandhar.
Institute has constituted an Anti-ragging Committee which is headed by the Head
of the Institution, and consisting of representatives of civil and police administration, local media, Non-Government Organizations involved in youth activities, representatives of faculty members, representatives of parents,representatives of students belonging to the freshers’ category as well as senior students, non-teaching staff; and have a diverse mix of membership in terms of level as well as gender.

DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology Jalandhar got established in the year 2001 under the aegis of the DAV College Managing Committee. The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
