About CIE Cell
CIE has been established in the Institution to nurture the innovative entrepreneurial ideas of the budding technocrats and to give them the necessary exposure to set up their ventures. The Centre aims at making the engineers and managers job givers rather than job seekers.
The Centre for Incubation and Entrepreneurship will enable the students to interact with the experts from academia and industry which will result in the generation of new business ideas. He highlighted the fact that the focus of CIE will be to help students set up their ventures within the Institute campus for a year in which they will get all the assistance and guidance to make it big in corporate world. The basic aim is to improve the survival and growth of the new startups. In India there are 40 Incubation centers and with the establishment of CIE, DAVIET joins the elite list.
Entrepreneurship in India is on the verge of explosive growth as the youth of the nation wants to make its mark at the global level. the nation needs job providers who can help in employment generation, poverty alleviation at grass root through developmental intervention. The role of Incubation Centers, goal is to help create and grow young businesses by providing them the necessary support along with financial and technical services.
