“Parwaaz 08”, was organized on October 6, 2008 by 2nd Year Students of MBA for new entrants of MBA & MCA. Chief Guest of the function was Hon’ble Sh. Jagdish Raj Sahni, Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Govt. of Punjab). Among the other dignataries, who graced the occasion with their benign presence, were Sh. Ranjeet Arya, Secretary BJP, North Zone, Sh. Prem Bhardwaj, Press Secretary, BJP, Sh.Madan Lal, Principal, DAV College, Batala, Sh. S.K Sehdev, Principal, Mehar Chand Polytechnic, Jalandhar, Sh. M.S Bharaj, Producer, Doordarshan Kendra, Jalandhar, Sh. Jagroop Singh, HOD, CE Deptt., Mehar Chand Polytechnic, Jalandhar, Mrs. Sarita Tiwari, and Ms. Aparna. Sh. C. L. Kochher, Director-cum-Principal of the Institute welcomed the distinguished guests, eminent personalities and other elite of the city.
Chief Guest Sh. Jagdish Raj Sahni, Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Govt. of Punjab) in his address stressed the need of realizing the value of mother tongue Punjabi.

CHARISMA’08- A FRESHER MEET
Charisma 2008… A freshers’ meet was organized on September 12, 2008 in Lala Chanchal Dass DAVIET Auditorium. Sh. S.R. Ladhar, IAS, Hon’ble Commissioner (Jalandhar Division) was the Chief Guest on the occasion which also featured Sh. Surinder Seth, Managing Editor, Dainik Bhaskar as the Guest of Honour.
