Light Wave Technology System:

This lab caters to the requirement of research engineers for the simulation and performance evaluation for all types of optical communication networks. “Optsim” simulation software and tools are available in this lab.

VLSI Design:

We have a mission that the VLSI technology should be made available for the common cause of every human being and the innovative minds should be leveraged to expand the huge information pool. The semiconductor industry has experienced an unprecedented growth in recent years.

Semiconductor industry has also crossed quarter micron threshold and the recent announcement of 0.02 micron transistor by Intel is a clear indication of the explosive growth that is in the offering. Prominent Research Investigators associated with the projects on VLSI Designs are Dr. S.S.S.P. Rao, Professor and Head VLSI Design Centre, IIT Mumbai and Dr. H.S. Jamadgani, Indian Institute of Sciences, Banglore.

Wireless System Design:

The efforts are being made to tie up with Agilent Technologies, for Infrastructural support to analyze and provide network solutions on CDMA platform.

Software Engineering

We have tied up with Microsoft Corporation under Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance program. The institute shall be jointly providing solutions to the Real World problems under Developer Program on .NET platform. We have also entered into a MOU with RED HAT LINUX for training, certification and developer program on projects to be developed on LINUX platform for the industry.

DAVIET has incorporated SEED programme with IBM corporation for Software Engineering called the Rational Software Engineering for Educational Development. In this programme, Rational will provide all tools and software to the faculty and students.

Participations in International Conference
Hemant Dhiman Kashish Sukhjia Abhinav Dhall Vibhore Jain         Students whose research papers on "SMART TANKS" & "ENHANCING INTERNET - TRANSPORTING SMELL OVER INTERNET" were selected in the International Conference organised by National University, California, USA. Its note worthy that only three papers have been selected throughout India. As a gesture of appreciation, the Institute sponsored the registration charges and one side fare of Sh. Kashish Sukhjia who represented the Institute in the conference. He earned wide appreciations from all corners and has been offered free gigher education in M.S. by the National University Califiornia.
