Thus it becomes very necessary to continue improvement in all fields. It is quite clear to everybody now that diversification is the need of the hour and without it no organization can survive in this competitive world. Accepting this fact our institute has already set up a research center within the campus of the institute, which will provide opportunities not only to the faculty but also to the students for undertaking innovative projects.
The department of mechanical engineering has initiated the research work by setting up a consultancy unit which will not only generate resources for the institute but will also enhance the innovative approach of the students. The students will get an opportunity to think differently for a better tomorrow. We encourage the students to work in teams to achieve a common goal “success”.

CONSULTANCY

 

CNC turning center

The Department has registered itself as the pioneers of technology in the annals of DAVIET. This is once again proven in the recent installation of CNC turning center to give a fillip to its Consultancy aspirations. The Consultancy has been given to M/S Central Institute of  Plastic Engineering Technology, Amtrisar were we made die for bobbin. The occurrence is expected to further add more sheen to the existing standing of the department as the harbinger of innovation and novelty in the academic spheres of the institute.

The Department has always been one of the most robust mainstays of the Engineering edifice of institute. It has taken some real giant leaps in the field of engineering and technology inspiring others to rally behind. One of its strides includes the consultancy work regarding micro structural analysis and problem in spanner of M/s GRIPWEEL TOOLS INDUSTRY. The task assigned has been concluded to near perfection with the magnanimous aid of PIET BEUN (NETHERLAND senior expert called by M/s Grippwell Tools) to everybody’s contentment and delight.
