PLACEMENTS & HIGHER STUDIES

 

This department is arranging placement interviews/written tests for various companies and helping students to get jobs in different organizations. The final selection is subject to fulfilling the terms and conditions mentioned in the offer letters issued by the companies. We are also getting a continuous feedback from the industry about our students recruited during the previous years through campus recruitment. Our students are doing very well in these organizations. Because of improved infrastructure and facilities in the institute during the last couple of years and praiseworthy performance of our passed out students in the industrial organizations and our continuous persuasion, many companies of repute are showing their interest to visit our institute on the very first day of campus recruitment schedule.

Every year, the department organizes programmes for the benefit of  B.Tech. students and advises them for:

  • Preparing for interviews
  • How to face the interviews
  • Preparation for Group Discussion
  • Choosing a career.

Such programmes are organized to help the students to compete with confidence in the job market.

The students of mechanical engineering have an edge over other students. This lies in the fact that mechanical engineering students are selected in almost all the sectors of the industry. Whether it’s a core mechanical company like Honda, Sonalika or a construction company like Oriental Structural engineers, Afcons, Shapoorji Pallonji & co., Cushman & Wakefield ltd etc.. our students have been selected in large numbers.
