Dr. S.K. Salwan appreciated the performance and dedication of all the participants. He stated that such events have long lasting effect on the minds of the audience. He cited examples from his practical experience and life incidents. He showered his blessings on the youngsters for progress in all the fields of life. He said that winning or losing an event doesn't matter; only participation matters as competition is a tiny thing but hearty relationship always survive. He expressed his sincere thanks to all the participants, artists, judges, Institutes, other officials and particularly to DAVIET and Principal Kochher for organizing this mega festival in a well organized manner.

The events of the day were Punjabi Folk Song, Vaar Singing, Group Song Indian, Punjabi Folk Dance (Girls), Rangoli and On the spot Painting.

DAVIET won the overall trophy with 155 points by leaving behind the runners up team named BBSBEC, Fatehgarh Sahib that got 42 points. The outstanding students of DAVIET participated in all the events and marked their everlasting existence in them. It is worth mentioning that Punjab Technical University has organized the Youth Festival for just six times and DAVIET has the honor to bag the overall Inter Zonal Youth Festival Trophy for all the six times.
The performance of students in various events was creditable and applauded by all. The function was concluded with prize distribution ceremony and the chief guest gave away the prizes to the winning teams.
