6th PTU Inter Zonal Youth Festival 2007-08 hosted by DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jalandhar accomplished on November 27, 2007 with delight and enthusiasm. This youth festival is dedicated to 150 years of Freedom Sruggle, 150th Anniversary of the call for National Independence Movement by Satguru Ram Singhji (Kuka Movement) and Birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh. The first and second position holders of all the four zones of 6th PTU Zonal Youth Festival showed their talent in 3 days Inter Zonal Youth Festival. 

Dr. S.K. Salwan, Vice-Chancellor, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar graced the occasion of Valediction as Chief Guest with his benign presence. Ms. Chandra Mani Salwan, Ms. Sarojini Gautam sharda, Registrar, PTU, Sh. Rajneesh Sachdeva, Dean Establishments, PTU, Sh. V.K Arora, Dean Academics, PTU, Dr. N.P singh, Dean Exam, PTU, Principal S.K Sehdev, Principal Vijay Kumar Sharma , Principal R.K. Dhawan were also present on the occasion to witness this mammoth event.

Sh. C.L.Kochhar, Director-cum-Principal of DAVIET and Co-ordinator of 6th PTU Inter Zonal Youth Festival 2007-08, welcomed the chief guest, distinguished dignitaries, elite gathering of dignitaries from various colleges and officials from the various participating institutions. He admired the performance and dedication shown by the participants of the various cultural events and congratulated them for their splendid participation. He also thanked to the judges of all events for their evenhanded judgment.
