STUDENT CONSORTIUMS

C3E (Consortium Of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) C3E is a society formed by the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Departments. C3E organizes different events for the student that helps them to increase their aptitude level along with the Technical Knowledge.

Student Activities

Haux Placement Cell came into existence with an endeavor to inform the students of DAVIET, Jalandhar about the placement drives carried out by various companies. The placement drive contains three rounds. The aptitude test G. D’s and personal interview. The cell aims to fine tune the skills of the students so as to prepare them for the future. In its first event itself 700 students offered for the test. Out of these 100 students cracked the exam successfully. These students appeared for the group discussion and finally 10 students were declared winners. Winners were awarded pen drives as prizes.

Educational Tour

The students of Electrical 5th semester visited an industrial trip to Haridwar accompanied by Mr. Sushil Prashar and Ms. Meenu Khanna. It was an educational as well as adventurous trip for students. They had became familier with core field and learnt a lot from the engineers of BHEL

Farwell Party (2004-08 batch):

  • We meet to part and we part to meet again. On the night of 23rd April, 2008 Electrical Engineering family DAVIET, Jalandhar bid a special farewell to the electrical 2004-08 batch. Principal Sir addressed the gathering showered his blessings upon the Electrical Engineering final year students. Superstar Jassi Sandhu performed in the event. Besides various titles were bestowed upon the students of Electrical Engineering 4th year. The event was wrecked with a awestruck Bhangra performance.
  • On 15th September, 2008 Mr. Gurpreet Singh Purewal, Senior Executive Engineer, PSEB, deliver a expert talk. to Electrical 3rd & 4th year students on ‘Power Distribution, Magnetic Circuit & Transformations’ He enlightened many  minds with his vast  knowledge in electrical engineering.. Students were invited to ask queries at the end, to which students participated enthusiastically
