Team DAVIET participated in the 3rd South Asian University Youth Festival in MIME at Kathmandu University, Nepal which was organized between 7th – 11th Feb 2008. Their performance was judged as the best and they were awarded as best performance award. The following students of the Institute represented Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar in 3rd South Asian University Youth Festival

DAVIET students outshines all in theatrical events of North Zone Intervarsity Youth festival held at Kanpur
The students of DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jalandhar by representing Punjab Technical University brought laurels not only to the university but also to their own Institute. The DAVIET students have proved themselves at the top thrice i.e first time in PTU Zonal Youth Festival, second time in PTU Inter zonal Youth Festival and third time in North Zone Inter University Youth Festival.
