DAVIET”, I still remember the day when I was in confusion to select Engg. College for graduate studies. After making up the mind, I went for DAVIET and was the first student to inaugurate the Computer Sci. Deptt . Though, we had a tough time during the placements but now I can see my college creating records not only in terms of placement but also in sports and academics. I can see my college being opted as first preference from students not only from Punjab but from all over India. I am proud to be part of it.

After two years of services I realized that there was no other better option than what i have joined. College Experience – I had the best 4 years of my life….in D.A.V.I.E.T. Principal sir always boosted my confidence and wished me luck whenever I met him. I was lucky to have the best of friends and guides. A growing individual does not need anything more than an encouraging environment and opportunities.
This college gave me the best of opportunities in the form of world’s best companies .It was here that i got the chance of doing my 6 month industrial training at Wipro Technologies, Bangalore. Those months made me learn the lessons of mind as well as life. Not only academically, I also got a chance to flourish my artistic side by getting to participate in TechKriti events like Painting and Photography.
Faculty Experience – A special thanks to my HOD Dr.Manoj Kumar who called me a shooting star and that gave me the confidence to rise. I was motivated at every point by my teachers. Mrs.Neeru Malhotra
has been a great support whenever I was in trouble. Mrs.Rajni Sharma always encouraged me to try and stretch myself to reach greater heights. One can never thank his/her teachers enough so i also fall short of words for them.
Hostel Experience – I might have spent just one year in the college hostel but i was never ragged and whenever I felt home sick, I had plenty of people around me to make me feel at home. Mrs.Manju, our hostel warden was very patient with me and was always there to listen to each and every little problem. Thanks to her that i got my first away from home experience. Hostel Nights were great fun and I got to dance too.

Coming to our dept that is Mechanical Eng, the thing which was most helpful to gain knowledge through 4 yrs is its infrastructure the labs of Mechanical Engg are fully equipped the faculty of our dept is very hardworking and they all work for development of college under the guidance of faculty.

I really thanks to daviet for giving such high class infrastucture of labs due to which i was able to complete 2 major projects which include 2×2 wheel drive motar bike which is ist of its kind in india and it wons ist prize at project exhibition at science city jalandhar . Apart from the this daviet always stress to develop overall personailty of students due to this i was able to take part in various cultural events at college and university level . For placements i must say there is almost 100 % placements of our batch
